IN RECOGNITION OF
Most distinguished service to his nation – Jamaica – as honorary Consul General of turkey and meritorious contribution to the consular movement in the world; the honour conferred on him by the consular Corps of Jamaica for outstanding service to the consular community nationally and internationally – 2010; fulfilment of his pledge on election as president of FICAC in 2006 to change the centres of influence of FICAC from Europe to be more inclusive towards Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean; initiative in signing on behalf of FICAC a partnership agreement with the Prince Albert II foundation of Monaco for Protection of the Environment ; introducing and implementing the concept of holding regional consular conferences in various regions of the world – Thailand, Brazil, Finland, Turkey, Czech Republic, Africa, Monaco, Dubai, Dominic Republic, Philippines, India, Belgium; promoting FICAC International Trade Expos and FICAC International Cultural Galas as part of our consular activities and inspiring Consuls to turn into ‘caring consuls’; formulating “The way Forward” programme of FICAC creating new structures in the consular world and designing guidelines for each structure; winning the Gusi peace Prize, Manila, for distinguished role in promoting consular movement, November 2010; the honour of award of FICAC gold star – Highest honour of the world federation of consuls – 2009;
